Diane Randall hosts guests Dr. Ebby Luvaga, chair of the FCNL Policy Committee and professor of economics at Iowa State University and Amelia Kegan, FCNL legislative director for domestic policy. As we transition into the new 117th congress, we examine FCNL’s priorities during this extraordinary time: a deepening awareness of racial injustice and police brutality; the COVID-19 pandemic; an economic downturn that has escalated unemployment and profound inequalities; unequivocal evidence that the global climate crisis is here; and dire threats to the foundations of our democracy.
