Join FCNL's Sustainable Energy and Environment team at our bimonthly Call to Conscience meeting. This meeting will feature special guest speakers from the Northern Chumash Tribal Council (NCTC) including Chairwoman Violet Sage Walker, and her executive assistant, Gianna Patchen.
Together we will discuss NCTC's proposed Chumash Heritage National Marine Sanctuary in the Morro Bay area (CA) and the potential impact of the U.S. government's plans to build a large floating offshore wind farm in the area. We recognize this event as an opportunity to speak about a real-life example of how we can ensure environmental justice for communities while we strive to expand green infrastructure following passage of significant energy infrastructure bills.
