April Recess: Two Weeks to Make a Difference for Climate & Child Poverty

Zoom
When: Tuesday, April 12, 4:00 PM Eastern time (event is now over)
Your host says: To join the training go to: www.fcnl.org/qwc-stream

Join FCNL’s Amelia Kegan and Jim Cason for a briefing on how you can use visits to your local Congressional office to help us persuade Congress to pass historic legislation to reduce child poverty, promote renewable energy, and more.

This month, while members of Congress are back in your state for their two-week break, we hope you’ll consider visiting their local offices in person or, if that isn’t possible, virtually. Lawmakers are gearing up to pass legislation through the reconciliation process this spring. Your advocacy is needed to ensure that lawmakers advance a robust package that invests in clean energy, environmental justice, and programs like the expanded monthly Child Tax Credit that offer a lifeline for millions.
