The Persistence of Hope: FCNL and the 117th Congress

Zoom
When: Tuesday, February 1, 4:00 PM Eastern time (event is now over)
Your host says: To join the Zoom video conference go to: www.fcnl.org/qwc-stream

Join new FCNL General Secretary Bridget Moix and FCNL’s top lobbyists, Diana Ohlbaum and Amelia Kegan, as they discuss opportunities for action and reasons for hope for the remainder of the 117th Congress.

Lawmakers have so far failed to pass voting rights legislation and the Build Back Better Act may be taking longer than expected, but there remains enormous momentum in Congress to advance needed change. In the coming weeks and months, we are optimistic that Congress will pass the Build Back Better Act. We also foresee opportunities for advocates to spur action to reduce child poverty, address the climate crisis, end wars, and advance other issues that we are working on.

Rooted in our faith and our history, we remain persistently hopeful about our long-term advocacy and vision for the peaceful, just, and sustainable world we seek.

Register for this special opportunity to meet Bridget and hear from FCNL experts about what to expect as Congress tackles the big issues before us in 2022.
