The American Health Care Act failed because it was bad policy -- it would leave 24 million people without health coverage over the next decade, end the Medicaid expansion, and cut Medicaid by $840 billion over 10 years.
This new revision would make the AHCA even worse. It allows states to decimate key protections for people with pre-existing conditions, roll back requirements for plans to cover essential health care, and allow insurance companies to set lifetime caps and annual limits.
