For 25 years, the U.S. has supported international efforts to address climate change through the United Nations. In 2017 and 2018, however, Congress failed to approve funding for the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). By backing away from these investments, we are failing to provide the support we’ve pledged to the international community.
As the budgeting process for fiscal year 2019 begins, call on your representative to reinstate funding of the UNFCCC and IPCC.
