With the recent release of the Biden-Harris administration’s executive orders, the President is following through on his commitment to make the climate crisis a top priority of his Administration. These efforts are welcome, but alone they are not enough. Now it is time for Congress to set partisanship aside and prioritize climate action.

Publishing a Letter to the Editor in your local paper that mentions your representative by name is one of the best ways to communicate with and influence your member of Congress. Congressional staff collect publications that mention lawmakers each day, and include them in the representative's briefing package. Members of Congress are very focused on what their constituents are saying, and they will usually consider a published letter to the editor as a strong indication of sentiments within their district.
