FCNL, in partnership with Essential Partners, is organizing a virtual dialogue and facilitation training in March and April. We are assembling a cohort of 60 participants. Participants will join a followed by a 4-hour facilitation training on April 26 from 1–5 p.m. ET. This training will equip you to lead dialogue sessions—informal, open discussions that foster meaningful conversations, especially across differences, within your community.
Expectations:
• You commit to participate in the 4-hour facilitation training on April 26 from 1–5 p.m. ET
• Facilitate a dialogue in your community in which you belong (your meeting, neighborhood, city, etc....) within the next two months
• Participate in two follow up calls with cohort members to exchange learnings
Qualities of Participants:
• Able to meet all expectations (see above)
• Wants to engage people of different values and opinions, without being an advocate
• Naturally curious and a good listener
• Supports people in upholding agreed upon community behaviors
