Friends Place Fly-In

Join us for our second fly-in! Learn and lobby with FCNL on federal climate policy with programming and lodging at Friends Place on February 22-24, 2025. Due to space limitations at Friends Place, not all individuals who apply will be accepted. Decisions will be released on a rolling basis beginning in mid-late January. The deadline to apply is January 24, 2025.

This event is open to those who:

Reside in one of the target congressional districts or states-- Arizona (06), California (03, 22, and 40), Delaware, Georgia (01), Hawaii (01), Indiana (09), Iowa (01), Maryland, New York (01, 02, 17), Ohio (14), Oregon (01), Nebraska (02), New Jersey (07), Nevada (02), SC (01), Utah, Virginia (02) -- to engage in targeted lobbying with key members of Congress.

Are committed to climate justice and seeking a more peaceful, just, and sustainable world.

Demonstrate a commitment to continued engagement with advocacy and organizing. Can commit to attending a minimum of 3 pre- and post-trip calls, events, or follow-up lobby visits.

Cost of Attendance

All options include overnight lodging, 8 meals, and programming. If none of these options feel appropriate for you, please contact our staff.

Friends Place is not collecting any payment at the point of registration. After applications are reviewed, a Friends Place staff member will be in touch with your acceptance information and will follow up with more information about payment. Please select the option that best reflects your intended financial contribution toward the event registration fee.

Sustainer - $450. Select this if you are coming with support from an organization or you would like to cover a portion of the cost of attendance for someone with financial need. Individual – $300 – Select this to cover the cost of your attendance, including lodging, meals, and programming if you are traveling without support from an organization. Movement Builder - $150 – Select this if the discounted cost is needed to make this event accessible to you.
